LEARNING SHOULD BE FUN
We aim to create an environment rich in stimulation, comfort and loving attention, to enhance your child’s development. We believe that each child is an individual, and may meet their milestones a little earlier or later than their peers and therefore encourage the baby to develop at their own pace with our guidance and support.
The process of development involves learning and mastering skills like sitting, walking, talking, skipping and eventually tying their own shoes laces. Children learn these skills, known as developmental milestones, during predictable time periods.

We strive to keep your child happy and comfortable during the day. We make sure they are stimulated and educated in an appropriate way to be ready when they go to Grade R.
PARENTS WELCOME
We ask of you as parents to be actively involved in all school activities and to please tell us about anything that might bother you or if you have any suggestions. We have an open door policy, so feel free to contact me anytime to discuss anything.
BALANCED DIET
We provide a natural, nutritionally responsible menu and aim to be healthy. Your toddler will eat their 5 fruit and vegetables a day without even realizing it!
LANGUAGE, CLASS DIVISION & REPORTS
Language of instruction:
Instruction is conducted in both English and Afrikaans but our curriculum is written in English.
All assessment & progress reports are prepared in English.

Extra Activities Offered
EQ4Kids
Through this program children can be equipped with emotional intelligence skills from as young as possible. The skills and lessons taught through this program will enable your child to recognize emotions in the self and in others, understand the causes of emotions as well as their consequences, label emotions with a sophisticated vocabulary, learn to express emotions in socially appropriate ways as well as to regulate emotions effectively. It also teaches children a variety of other essential life skills.
Living Ball
Living Ball Kids are private extra mural activities offered for all children aged between 3-10 years at pre- as well as primary schools. These programmes concentrate on netball/hockey/soccer/cricket based skills which includes physical and motor-skilled development. The Netball/Hockey/Soccer/Cricket curriculum has been developed to focus on safety and skill development. These programmes are specially formulated to enhance skill development through fun, positive, energetic and enjoyable exercises, training and games.
Swim4Kids
Swimming Season: September – May. Indoor heated pool (30C). Only 2 kids per coach. For all kids regardless of abilities. For babies, kids, stroke correction and adults.
No forced used to obtain results, i.e. don’t push faces in water. We use positive teaching methods, creativity and specialised swimming equipment and exercises. It provides children with an unintimadting environment in which to develop love and respects for water and definite progress.
Miesha Daycare/Dagsorg is a dual medium, private daycare filled with love for babies and children.
